What is
NLP?
While many people have heard of NLP, not many know what it is.
The Association
for Neuro Linguistic Programming (ANLP) says:
'NLP stands
for "Neuro Lingusitic Programming" and NLP is frequently known as the "instruction manual for your mind".
NLP looks at the way in which we think and process our thoughts (Neuro),
the language patterns we use (Linguistic) and our behaviours (Programming) and how these
interact to have a positive (or negative) effect on us as individuals. It
is a collection of a wide range of methods and models which create an understanding of thought process and behaviour. Understanding these
techniques can bring about a positive change in you and others.
I
trained in NLP to Master Practitioner level and qualified with INLPTA.
NLP has been enormously helpful in changing
the way I approach life, work and relationships and I love sharing these tools with my clients.
You can test it
out before you even pick up the phone or email me to find out more. Think about any situation in your life that isn't
going as well as you'd like. Ask yourself:
1) What outcome would you like to achieve
here?
2) What feedback are you getting from whoever else is involved? (As Dr Phil might say, 'Is
what you're doing working for you?')
3) How can you be more flexible in your approach?
What else might you try? What can you do differently?
This is the basis of NLP.
Keeping these three
questions in your mind and applying them to challenging situations could change the way you approach your whole life.
NLP offers a wonderful tool kit to help you with almost any area of your life. I'd love to help you learn and
apply more.

What is EFT
(Emotional Freedom Technique)?
I'm also a qualified and experienced
EFT Practitioner and member of AAMET.
Also known as 'psychological accupuncture', EFT is needle-free.
It involves tapping acupressure points on and around your face and hand while repeating words and phrases
that relate to the emotional issue you'd like freedom from (I'll guide you through these based on what you tell me).
Studies show that when the person saying them doesn't believe what they're saying, positive affirmations
can actually lower self esteem. EFT allows clients to acknowledge their fears, no matter how scary (or silly) they feel
about them.
Once you've done this, the positive affirmations are much easier to believe because you'll
have dealt with the negatives.
EFT helps clear your energy field leaving you feeling ready to move forward without
any hesitation.
Once you've learned which points to tap, future sessions can work via telephone coaching.
Often, a conversation will bring up something for the client that EFT can easily resolve and we can integrate
it into the coaching sessions. You can book EFT as a treatment on its own (or specifically ask
for it to make up part of your coaching process) if you're finding yourself blocked in any way.
Email me today for full details about my coaching services
and fees.
